LANCASTER ENVIRONMENT CENTRE (LEC) OPENING CEREMONY
|

All students in Ecophysiology Lab have been invited for this ceremony. I dont want to miss the chance to meet those people who relate with my field of study. More important thing, to meet our VC closer ... hehehe.. nearly 4 yrs in Lancaster University, I dont bother to know who is our VC. LEC, merged between Centre for Ecology & Hydrology (CEH) under Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and Institute of Environmental and Natural Sciences (IENS), Lancaster University. The director of LEC is Prof Bill Davies, my supervisor.....
The carved stone at the entrance of the LEC represents a Tilia leaf. The covered carved stone has been opened by Prof. Paul Wellings (VC) and Prof. John Lawton (CE of NERC) as official opening.
For the variety of reasons, small leaved lime (Tilia cordata Mill) is an important plant for Lancaster, where it reaches the northern limit of its geographical range close to this part of North West England. The most important thing of Tilia cordata in the evolving landscape of the British Isle is described in the National Vegetation Classification.

Selaku suami, Pak Jasni nye sebagai tunggak utama penyokong akak muncuii dan tersenyumm. Ye laa.. tersenyum bangga akan isteri telah bergelar DOKTOR. Tidak sia-sia pengorbanan selama ini mengikut isteri sambung belajar sejak di Canada dan kini di Lancaster.. wahhhh, akak lepas ni Pak Jasni tido pun sure asik tesenyumm.. tak sabaq nak habaq org kg bini dah abis Ph.D. .. dan yg pasti dia lega sbb lepas nii tak payahhh lagi nakk ikut pi mana2 sambung belajaaaa... sbb dah abissss dahh nii... cuma kot kot nak sambung pi panjat gunung jer aaarr....
Seperti biasa.. soklan laser aku.. 'akakkk, pakai baju ape tadii viva? baju kurung biru tu ekk?? yg lama tak basuh tu ekk?? hahahaha.... biasa la akak dgn aksi selambaa...mmg betui pun pi viva berbaju kurung biru yg dipakai masa gath. Malam Sireh Pulang Ke Gagang tu.. ahehehe.. tapi kali ni bak kata Pak Jasnii... 'iskk, saya mlm tadii tak tidoq aihh.. dok penatt perasap baju tuuuuu kasi bole cakap masa vivaa'... ahehehehe.. Baju tak glamour takpe... tapi otak biar geligaaaa, mcm akakk ar...erks. soklan akhir aku.. ' akak pakai lisptick tak?''...
Utk akak sekeluarga... mmg best to know u all.. penatt ketawa bersama.. penat menangis bersama.. dan penatt gak buat gossip bersamaa.. hahaha... ape-apepun dosa shared! Thanks atas segala jasa baik akak... Maaf dlm segala kesilapann.... Halal dlm segalaa hal. Jumpa lenkali di Malaya....

FIRST time kitaorg (housemate) bukak snooker table sejak pindah di rumah baru ni. Nampak gaya kunjungan Ijan/Ina sekeluarga tidak sia-sia... sbb bole layan snooker sama housemate. Apa-apapun, aku tetap tak reti... volleyball jugakk jadi idaman!. tengok lah gambar depe dok sakan concentrate..... as usual, aku jadi org dapur siapkan air kot kot ade sape-sape hauss... a.k.a bartender gitu.... akekekee...
ps: lepas ni sape2 nak mai umah main snooker kene bawak bekaii sendiri ok.
